How much does each service cost?

Our prices will depend a number of factors such as waste amount, location, space for skips and any permits required.

What items are NOT allowed in a collection?

The majority of our services are designed for inert general waste. Changes in legislation mean that the following items are not currently permitted for collection:

  • Asbestos
  • Batteries
  • Electronics & TVs
  • Fridges & freezers
  • Fluorescent lights
  • Food waste
  • Gas Bottles
  • Medical & clinical waste
  • Oil and other accelerants
  • Paints & Solvents
  • Paint pots containing paint
  • Pesticides
  • Tyres
  • Wet Waste

Some of these items might be suitable for a different collection service, please call us for more information.

Where can skips be situated?

You can put a skip anywhere on your property as long as we can safely access the area for drop off and collection.

Skip Permits are required to put the skip on a public road, which can incur an extra charge. We can assist in arranging this if required.

Can aggregates be delivered or collected over a wall?

Our grab hire lorries have cranes that will lift over most walls and fences. Skips can sometimes be lifted over walls, depending on the location and the wall height - please call us to see if your location will allow this. Aggregates delivered in tipper lorries will need direct access.

How full can a skip be loaded?

Waste placed in skips mustn't extend beyond the highest side. This is to avoid any danger of slippage during transport, which may incur an extra charge to clear.

How full can a grab lorry or tipper truck be loaded?

Waste loaded onto our open back lorries can occasionally extend above the sides, as long as the total weight is below maximum capacity. Drivers will use their knowledge and experience to advise on this.

Tarpaulin can be attached over some loads to help secure loose items during transport.
